Being an orthodontist is not just a job, it’s a passion! Since 1971, I’ve genuinely enjoyed working in orthodontics, and helping my patients improve their lives. Receiving orthodontic treatment is a life changing experience, and I feel privileged that my patients have chosen to come to here for their new smiles! I love this community, and I getting to know my patients and creating treatments that meet their unique, individual needs. I feel confident in the care my team provides, and I am always proud to welcome new patients to the practice. I look forward to working with you and your family.
Education is the foundation for success.
I’ve been fortunate to be practicing orthodontics for almost 40 years. My dental education has provided me with a solid foundation that has allowed me to grow in my knowledge and skills throughout the years. It is an honor for me to share passion for orthodontics with others, and I feel grateful for the trust that my patients place in me and my abilities to give them the smile they’ve always wanted.

Improving the quality of care through continuing education.
Since 1971, I have been dedicated to providing my patients with the best care possible. By participating in continuing education, I am able to offer the most up-to-date treatment options, and create a more comfortable experience for patients of all ages. My goal is to make each person’s orthodontic treatment as pleasant as possible, and by introducing new treatments and techniques, I am able to give my patients the complete care they deserve.
Over the years, I have maintained memberships with a variety of professional orthodontic associations and study clubs, including the:
- Alexander Study Club
- Alpern Study Club
- American Association of Orthodontists
- Southern Society of Orthodontists
Even outside of the practice, it’s easy to find time to smile!
I have lived in Louisville my entire life, leaving only to attend dental school. I love this area, and feel deeply connected to the communities I serve. When I’m not at the practice, I enjoy golfing and boating. I am also an active member of the University of Louisville Alumni Board as well as a clinical professor at the University of Louisville.
