Akridge Orthodontics was founded in Louisville, KY in 1971 by Dr. Alan Akridge. While we have since closed our original Outer Loop office, you can still find Akridge Orthodontics in Middletown and Campsbellsville, KY. Each of our locations is configured with brand new, state-of-the-art technology. From cozy waiting rooms to the latest in digital x-ray imaging, our facilities ensure you receive high-quality care that puts your comfort and needs first. 

In 2009, Dr. Alan’s son, Matt, joined the growing practice after completing his orthodontic residency program in Jacksonville, Florida. In 2010, Dr. Matt took over full ownership and is currently running the day-to-day operations for both locations. What makes Akridge Orthodontics unique is that we’re the only practice in the area that utilizes the Alexander Discipline, developed by one of the world’s most renowned orthodontists Dr. Wick Alexander. The basic principle of this discipline reverts back to the old adage that EFFORTS = RESULTS!
