Initial Visit

Your complimentary evaluation will take place on your first visit to Akridge Orthodontics. During this appointment, our friendly and professional staff will painlessly examine your oral health and determine your need for braces. This appointment is the perfect time to discuss any concerns or ask any questions you may have so we can provide you with the proper information you need when it comes to taking the next steps toward a straighter smile. 

Records Appointment

Now that you’ve had your initial visit, it’s time to start creating your personalized treatment plan! Your Records Appointment allows us to gather the information we need to start planning the process toward your perfect smile. During this appointment, our staff will take some pictures, make molds of your teeth, and take 1 or 2 x-rays, which allows Dr. Matt to develop a treatment plan that will give you the best results possible.

Placement of Braces

Once your personalized treatment plan has been finalized, it’s time to make that dream smile of yours a reality! At Akridge Orthodontics, the placement of braces happens in two phases. We typically begin by placing braces on the upper teeth, followed by the lower teeth several months later.

Before we begin placement, we’ll ensure you’re supplied with ample information, so that you know exactly what to expect. We’re here for you every step of the way!
